Melissi village is just 400 m from the villa, where you can find mini markets, grocery (with many local products), butcher shop and a small tavern.
In a distance of 3,5 km west (7 min by car) you can find the area of Sykia which is a small beautiful gulf with several cafe and taverns (and also mini markets). 
At the end of Sikia Gulf with direction west starts the area of Xylokastro. First you'll find the beautiful pine forest called ''Peukias''. This small park with a length of 2 km lays across the beach and is ideal for walking, running or any other relevant activity. 
After the pine forest of Peykias starts the picturesque town of Xylokastro with a magnificent sea side walk for around 1 km. Several taverns, cafe and bars on the sea can offer you some beautiful sunsets and relaxing moments.
Except the above - most close to the villa you can also visit the small town of Kiato (driving east for 8 km - 13 min by car) where you can find also a beach with bars, cafe and taverns.
